The Treaty to Prohibit and Ban Nuclear Weapons:

Making the Road by Walking

  While Trump pressures Xi Jinping at Mar-a-lago and threatens North 
Korea with a possible preemptive attack, the vast majority of the 
world’s nations are demanding and end to the double standard and 
fulfillment of the NPT’s promise of a nuclear weapons-free world.

  I was at the U.N. in New York last week, where 130 nations launched 
very successful negotiations for a nuclear weapons prohibition and ban 
treaty leading to the complete elimination of the world’s nuclear 
arsenals. Following are my reflections about and analysis of the 
progress they made.
